    :: living for these easy spring days ✨🌱🤍 . :: living for these easy spring days ✨🌱🤍 . It usually takes us at least 30 minutes (walking at toddler speed) to reach this beautiful woodland near our home. But yesterday, with the glorious sunshine and with only light layers (which feels so freeing!), Emilia hopped, skipped and jumped her way there in record speed. We definitely both appreciated this little adventure on our doorstep 🌿 . We spent the entire time collecting flowers and sticks together while also searching for ladybugs and pigeons — a new fascination, which makes for perfect use of her new binoculars! . Happy Friday! Here’s to a weekend filled with lots of little moments of joy 💛 .     :: one week into April already! I hope you’re al :: one week into April already! I hope you’re all doing okay? Sharing some snapshots from our Easter Sunday, during Emilia’s very first Easter egg hunt 🥚🐣 We hid a dozen small wooden eggs in our garden — a challenge to do whilst it’s all looking a bit bare, mid border update, but we did it! . She had the best time using her little binoculars to help her find each one, sweetly saying “egggg, where are youuuu?” like she does when we’re playing hide-and-seek 🥰... it was not a quick search for all those twelve eggs! But her curiosity and joy was infectious so there are definitely more treasure hunts to be had! I took a little video of her discovering her big chocolate egg surprise at the end and she was such a happy chick tucking into that — of course all foil-wrapped foods are now instantly claimed by her as “my chocolate egggg!”. . A simple and slow long weekend with my little family, where I tried my best to let go of the perfection to-do list I’d created for myself. There were many more things I didn’t tick off that list than I actually accomplished (such as painting those wooden eggs for the hunt) and that’s okay. A healthy reminder for myself that it didn’t hinder our time together. It was the loveliest few days for us and I’m very thankful for the sunshine and abundance of clematis blooms adding to my memories. 🌱🤍✨ . Wishing you a happy weekend x #emiliahannarose
    :: we’ve spent the weekend gardening and althoug :: we’ve spent the weekend gardening and although our space doesn’t look anywhere near as magnificent as this rose garden (we’re total gardening novices), it’s still very much a work in progress – which I’m really enjoying the process of! 👩🏻‍🌾 ...If you have any recommendations for a small garden space, specifically borders, we’d be so so grateful ✨ . I’m looking forward to the two (maybe three) days of warm summer-like weather we’ve been forecast this coming week ☺️ You’ll find me lounging in the garden (alongside Emilia playing in her paddling pool) dreaming up and planning for our little outdoor sanctuary. 🌷🪴🌱 We’re hoping to create a fairly low maintenance modern cottage garden with a good amount of evergreen shrubs, some seasonal flowers potted on the decking area and a corner for Emilia’s mud kitchen.

    :: all of a sudden, she is so grown up 🍃🌸✨ :: all of a sudden, she is so grown up 🍃🌸✨ and becoming the most vivacious, kindest, funniest little girl. . Cherishing these days with her, especially when they move a million miles an hour... because every cliché about our babies growing up so quickly couldn’t be more true and I’m a big puddle of emotions if I linger on that a bit too long 💔 We’ve been apart from family for what’s felt like the longest year imaginable (it’s felt impossible on so many occasions), but I’m feeling immense gratitude for this wonderful little soul I have in my life and her forever uplifting companionship ❤️ .     :: found this sweet photo of us sharing lunch on a :: found this sweet photo of us sharing lunch on a day trip to Cley next the Sea last autumn ❤️🌿 Really love the simplicity of this scene, and it also amuses me how I now share 99% of my meals with this little peach, because of course the food on mama’s plate looks far more delicious - even though it’s usually exactly the same meal ☺️ #emiliahannarose
    :: my everything ❤️ . After a really lovely mo :: my everything ❤️ . After a really lovely morning being treated to a special breakfast of pancakes and tea in bed, our day took a dramatic turn and a trip to the Minor Injuries unit was needed for Emilia. It was a huge heart-in-mouth moment for me, but thankfully she’s now feeling okay and happy again. Nothing a little bit of glue (with the help of cartoons for distraction during the appointment) and lots of kisses and cuddles couldn’t help fix. . Safe to say I’ll be remembering this Mother’s Day for a long time. We’re snuggling on the sofa now, while we wait for our late dinner to finish cooking and I’m feeling even more grateful for this little person who chose me to be her Mama and who constantly encourages me to be the best version of myself. .
