A long walk in the countryside, wandering through fields, meadows, forests or mountains… it’s the very best kind of tonic for me. I find that my mind is completely at ease, I can breathe deeply and discover endless inspiration from my natural surroundings. It’s the place I find calm and tranquility and has always been so soothing for my creative soul.
‘My Countryside Tonic’ was created as a way of documenting those peaceful moments and curating my travels; my time spent outdoors exploring the beautiful countryside, wilderness adventures and all that inspires me about the changing seasons and simple wonders of nature.
“To the attentive eye, each moment of the year has its own beauty, and in the same field, it beholds, every hour, a picture which has never been seen before, and which shall never be seen again”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson

‘My Countryside Tonic’ began very much as a personal project on Instagram and I have recently extended this to become a regular journal series where I shall share the places that I seek for english countryside adventures to refresh my soul and wilderness discoveries to reconnect with my inner wild.
