One wintry Sunday in January, we decided to head to our favourite local National Trust for a walk through their winter garden. Since our first visit years ago, James and I have always really enjoyed heading

Also, impressed I managed to capture a photo of this special anniversary bouquet of flowers this afternoon minutes before all the light was lost in this corner of our living room ✨ I noticed how beautiful the light was and seized my opportunity while Emilia was napping... I had to juggle editing with a breastfeeding toddler though!

Emilia was really the only one of us dressed appropriately for the turn of weather... and James fell spectacularly in the boggy mud before our journey home. Still the most fun we’ve had in a while and I’ll never forget how much we all laughed. Simple joys ✨
Happy Halloween! 🎃✨ Happy Halloween! 🎃✨
:: a little bit of furniture rearranging and tinke :: a little bit of furniture rearranging and tinkering in this area of Emilia’s bedroom. She loves her books and always makes a beeline for this corner, so I’m trying to create more space for her to get cosy and explore her favourite stories 📚✨

:: I was recently reminded of this glorious arrang :: I was recently reminded of this glorious arrangement of Dahlias (thank you @hannah.straughan) from one of my many visits to Anglesey Abbey last year, so I just had to dig out one of my edits from my collection ✨💕 I’ve definitely missed being able to wander these beautiful gardens quite so much this summer. Living vicariously through everyone else’s photos – that’s the magic of having this wonderful little app isn’t it 💫

Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend, friends x

My insomnia has taken a turn for the worse and so my days have been merging into weeks quicker than I can believe. I know I’m not alone in experiencing trouble sleeping, but it really can feel relentless can’t it?! Sending anyone in the same boat lots of love and hope you get some much needed rest too. 💕✨
:: a rare moment of calm captured during our famil :: a rare moment of calm captured during our family adventures earlier this month — though they usually occur in the most unexpected spots... this one was while hidden amongst a field of delphiniums 💕 (and I cannot wait to share more of those gloriously floral photos with you soon!) 💫
